This is a smashing non-glossy monitor. GET IT!
By Mr. Jim
I've been holding off on this, given we wanted to spend some time with it to give an gifted review. I'm usually transfer a lot of sum out there for we to catch and make your possess decision, though don't get me wrong, this is an AWESOME guard for those of us that don't caring for silken screens.
I didn't buy this for a size; we bought it for a LED backlight, 2ms response, 1920 resolution, and a high contrariety ratio. It usually happened to be a usually distance we could get with those requirements.
Sound
This guard does not come with speakers, though does come with a headphone jack located subsequent to a video ports in a rear. This headphone jack is, to my knowledge, fed quite by HDMI if your video label supports injection of audio along with a video it displays (My GTX 560 Ti supports this. There is no approach to control a volume for this jack on a monitor. Normally when a OS detects HDMI audio it disables audio controls and leaves a rest of a audio government to a A/V receiver or end-device (headphones, TV, etc). Thus, a usually approach to control volume is around in-game/video-player/etc settings or on your speaker/headphone itself.
It is a accessible underline to have for those of us who use HDMI, though we tend to use my computer's headphone jack instead, given it's optimized for a headphone audio pattern (not 7.1) and puts out some-more drum as good as allows me to control a volume around a OS.
Display
My guard arrived with 100% of a pixels working; not one singular stranded or passed pixel. This was a initial thing we checked for when we perceived it.
The 2ms response time is great. we don't see any ghosting or other forms of lag. we tested this with Transformers 2. During a stage where a Devastator comes together my 60Hz TV was so laggy it was tough to see all of a details; with this guard we was means to see each perplexing fact of a vehicles joining together to form a Devastator. Now we wish to ascent my TV.
*Note, 1080 Flash videos (Youtube/VEVO) might uncover occasional 'refresh' lines in full screen, we trust this to be quite a stipulations of Flash itself, given my Blu-Rays had no such issues*
Compared to any other LCDs we have, this has unequivocally tiny colour exaggeration formed on opposite observation angles. The usually time colours uncover conspicuous change is when looking from a aloft observation angle (not left, right, or below). **EDIT: The modernise lines are a outcome of something in Linux. Everything is pleasing in Windows.**
Sometimes, during a plain phony screen, we consider we see teenager light-bleed outcome in some areas, though newly we haven't. It's unequivocally rare/negligible and not conspicuous during all during use.
The shade itself if unequivocally bright, colours are vivid, and whites are white and not yellowed (it puts my MacBook to shame).
I have been confident with a default colour settings. It comes with 6 preprogrammed modes. we routinely usually use Game/Theater/Standard modes. Similar to selling for TV's in a store, once we switch to Standard you'll consider "Eww, that's so bleached", though once we travel divided and come behind it looks overwhelming again. The Theater mode is configured some-more for darker pictures.
Since it's energetic contrast, we beheld during contrariety that a shade of pristine black is not as black as I'd like (because it has zero to compare/adjust against), though once we lift adult an tangible pattern with calm or play a video blacks are dim black, whites are splendid white, and it does unequivocally good as displaying a several levels of contrariety in between.
Build
It's flattering skinny and seems good built. The bottom is unequivocally easy to take on and off for transport, though we might wish to use a screwdriver if you're OCD and a 1-2 grade of probable revolution from usually hand-tightening annoys you. The shade sits turn and doesn't gaunt during all one approach or a other. There is a gash in a back, substantially especially for feverishness dissipation, that I've been regulating as a handle-grip for transporting to LAN parties. This seems to work rather well, even if it's not dictated to be used this way. The guard itself stays unequivocally cold and we frequency notice any luke comfortable atmosphere entrance from it even when I'm right adult to it.
Other Thoughts
As many as people protest about a reflections of silken screens, we don't consider a Aero/"ooh, silken object" outcome of a shimmer will ever seem defective to my non-glossy shade (remember that TV selling effect?). At a same time we am blissful to have a non-glossy shade and am unequivocally astounded during how good it handles a colours for being such. It's both a pro and a criminal for me.
As for those people who contend this shade is not meant for text, all we have to contend is "Grow Younger!". I'm 25 and have no issues observation content on this screen. we had a laptop with a 15.5" LCD using during 1920x1280 and never (okay, rarely) had any issues reading tiny text, and we can tell we this 23" 1920x1080 shade is many easier to read, because... well... all 2+ million of those pixels are incomparable than on my 15". Sure, my father might still protest about a font, though all-in-all if we have difficulty reading tiny things get a arrangement with a reduce internal fortitude (else things typically get blurry-ish when we reduce from a internal resolution). The content itself displays good and Crisp, usually how we like it.
I feel like we left something out, but:
TLDR; This is a smashing non-glossy monitor. GET IT!

Awesome 23.6 Matte Led Monitor!
By bilyrocker33
This guard is usually plain awesome. we adore each in. of it!
The presets are unequivocally nice, colors seem to be roughly mark on for a gaming option. No ghosting whatsoever, we could not get it to loiter or anything like it.
The mount isn't too bad, no worse afterwards many led monitors. Since it is so light there is no problem relocating it around, there is also a good container on a tip behind a shade to use as a handle!
TF2, Borderlands, WOW, and Killing Floor all demeanour violent on this thing, it is so crisp. we can see so many some-more fact afterwards on a Acer 19" 4:3 guard we used previously.
I also am a semi-pro photographer and let me tell you, this shade didn't even need tone correction. Its colors are jam-packed no doubt, though they were usually right.
You will adore this monitor. Buy it. Cereal.

Great gaming monitor
By R. Andrews
First off, in box it is not transparent from a title, a VS247H-P facilities LED backlighting. Also, it has a matte (anti-reflective) finish on a shade (the bezel, by contrast, is glossy).
Since no one had reviewed this nonetheless when we bought it (it's a new model) we was a tiny wavering during first. Happy to news this is an glorious display. In fact, we like it improved than any of a TN row displays we saw during my internal sell stores. (Since we use it for gaming primarily, we was not in a marketplace for an IPS arrangement given of their slower response times.)
Pros:
It has a unequivocally appealing elementary design. The bezel is slim, a mount seems sturdy. It is sincerely skinny (but not razor thin). Runs unequivocally cool. Great colors (I didn't know Starcraft 2 could demeanour this good!). Excellent response time. we haven't beheld any draining around a edges - a backlighting seems unequivocally even. we like a dark earthy buttons on a bottom right of a arrangement (instead of hold formed buttons). When a guard goes to sleep, it there is a tiny lifeless orange light (instead of an irritating splendid blinking blue light like some other displays).
Cons:
As with all TNs, there is some tone change when noticed during an off-angle, though this is reduction conspicuous than on other displays we have tried. we would cite that it didn't contend "HDMI" on a reduce left dilemma of a front of a section (not an distortion or anything, usually wish it was a removable plaque instead of embellished on).
My initial section had a splendid blue stranded pixel in a core - Amazon soon sent a replacement. New section is great.
