Now I'm commencement to consternation if these people got a same light we did. No one has mentioned that this light comes with an additional rubber grommet that can be private for incomparable bars. Is this a new further formed on user feedback? we left it in a clamp when we initial attempted to implement it on my towering bike bar and it took all my bid to clamp down 2 clicks. After several night and early morning rides on some of a rockiest bumpiest trails (and even a fall), that light hasn't budged. The light defaults to middle liughtness when we initial spin it on. Charging from a mechanism seems to be slower than from a wall unit. we beheld it took 5 hours to assign after a 2-hour float on low environment when trustworthy to my laptop. UPDATE (1/20/12) I've used this light for several months and several hundred miles of night riding. Two of my roving buddies have acquired this light after saying it in movement on my rig. The mountain is still intensely stable, yet we have a 31.8mm bar. If we have a narrower bar or a highway bike, YMMV. we still float with a environment on low in many circumstances, confident in a volume of light this provides for my character of riding. we have not seen a low battery indicator on any of my rides durability adult to 3 hours. However, one of my buddies rides on high environment and confirms that a advertised battery life seems to be flattering accurate. A wholly charged light on high environment will uncover a "low battery" around 1:35-1:40.
In my strange review, we settled that we had no goal of perplexing a helmet mount.
