I was looking during other truing stands & usually happened to find this. If we already have a Park Tool correct mountain thereafter you're good to go. This is fundamentally an appendage to those stands. we have a PCS-10.
Mine came in a tiny box. The circle mount, that is metal, screws in a behind of a ascent clamp arm. They give we 2 prolonged conjuration screws, yet we used a ones already in a correct stand. The sign clamps on & we can slip it adult & down. It is done of plastic, yet it's not flimsy.
This thing is so most improved than regulating your stop pad as a gauge. It creates my correct mountain kind of an all in one outfit. I'm not a pro rider, yet we float about 30mi a week. If we need something to loyal your bike wheels adult flattering good & we already have a Park Tool correct stand, this will do a flattering good job.
The pretension should be altered to "wheel truing sign add-on" or something since we was confused during initial until we went to their website & examination about it there.

Caveats: I'm a newbie during circle truing and never used a truing mountain before so this was a new knowledge for me.
This is a truing mountain that mounts onto several of a Park Tool correct stands. It is NOT a free-standing device, as a opposite confused reviewer experienced, we MUST have a correct stand. If we demeanour during a cost of "full-blown" truing stands, this is clearly a good understanding (if we have a correct mountain of course). we have a PCS-10. If you're deliberation a PCS-9 vs. PCS-10, this does NOT fit a PCS-9, another offered indicate for a PCS-10.
There is a steel joint that mounts to a behind of a cosmetic housing that binds a correct stand's categorical clamp (near a holder handle); this is where we mountain your wheel. Your quick-release heart attaches to that steel joint and allows a circle to spin freely, so a wheel's usually upheld on one side yet it seems to work excellent in this way. Attached simply to a behind of my PCS-10. we like several other reviewers am new to truing bike wheels. The further works as it should and we like that it does not take adult any additional space as that is singular for me.
As another reviewer mentioned Park could have have done it a caliper pattern during a bottom instead of a singular post yet a beam is accurate. If we are going to be truing wheels mostly we consider we competence wish to spend a additional income and get a pro stand.
My usually dispute is a whole public is on an angle so we can't demeanour true on and we are utterly distant divided from where we will be branch your spoke wrench. This is a knowledge with a PCS-10 not certain about a other stands.
